What is a Health Exercise Lifestyle Professional?
Most fitness professionals use the term Personal Trainer, but we prefer to use the title Health Exercise Lifestyle Professional, as we not only help women with their fitness training but also with nutrition and lifestyle changes to help them get the best results. Would you pick someone to train with once a week only? Or would you choose someone to train with, motivate you, encourage you and guide you to the lifestyle and body you desire?
It’s your habits that got you to the point you are at today, and our goal is to motivate and guide women just like you to build a brand new set of habits that will lead to a healthy lifestyle as well as a toned body that you can be happy and confident with, without taking away all the foods you love.
What if I am totally unfit and an absolute beginner?
No worries at all. You are most welcome to join us, no matter what level you’re at. Each session will be personalised to you and you’ll work out at a pace you are comfortable with. We will show you the techniques you need to get started, and help you to progress week to week, all towards seeing you become stronger and more confident with each exercise. All you need is determination, motivation, a drink bottle and a towel to get started on this journey. Take that first step to get the strong and healthy body you deserve! Does BoxFit involve physical contact like boxing in a ring?
No way! This is a super friendly, non-violent workout using boxing techniques without you getting punched in the face! We use focus pads and boxing gloves to ensure you get an ultimate workout with the safest equipment available. It is a fantastic, high-energy cardio and strength workout and a great way to release all the stress after a hectic day.
Where are the small group sessions held?
Our boutique ladies-only studio is located at 11a Sumich Place, West Harbour, Auckland. Coming here will give you some space away from your busy life, and an opportunity to break away for a bit and focus on what you need to become the best you can be. We have created a great environment where your comfort means everything, and we want you to call this space your own. Make it your home away from home, where you are number one.
Big classes are not your thing? We’re with you on that one! When we say small group sessions, we mean it. There are only 4 or 5 spots available for each. The sessions take 30mins and with multiple sessions and times to choose from each week, you can easily fit it into your busy schedule and stay on track to become a healthier, fitter you!
Are there private options available?
If you don't feel fit or co-ordinated enough to join a small group session, or if that’s just not what you are looking for, you can book in a one-on-one fitness session with Mel. A perfect option if you’d like to work on a specific area, goal or strength. Do it once a week or 3 times, it will give you plenty of accountability while feeling comfortable and fully supported. Each package is tailored to your personal goals and fits in with your lifestyle, your comfort and your budget. Private training is all about you and just for you.
