“As a qualified Health Exercise Lifestyle Professional, I specialise in sustainable weight loss and exercise programmes for women who lead busy lives. By taking advantage of our small-group fitness classes, one on one sessions and online resources, you can gain that flat tummy, toned arms, sexy legs and shed those annoying extra kilos that are holding you back.
Based in West Auckland, I’ve been working in the professional world for 14 years. I know how tough it can be to find that balance between work, life and fitness without taking away from your valuable and much needed me-time. Out of passion, I decided to change my path and focus on helping other women achieve their health and fitness goals.
I am so lucky to spend my days helping and motivating women just like you to lose weight and get fit while having fun, and to become the person they’ve always wanted to be. I can show you how simple lifestyle changes and short, effective workouts can get you more results than spending hours at the gym.
Nutrition is hugely important, and we’ll provide you with advice and lots of tasty healthy meal suggestions, but we don’t believe in strict and rigorous diets. They just don’t work long-term! It’s okay to have a Tim-Tam when you feel like it, but as soon as your focus is on health & fitness, you won’t want to scoff the whole packet. You’ll automatically start making better choices.

I highly recommend this program, I had been searching for something that would fit in with my busy life, BeneFITyou is prefect for me. I was super nervous but once I had met Mel I was excited. I hate exercise in general. I hate finding the time, what it entails and feeling like I'm being judged. or donating money to something I don't attend. Here though.... it's just different. the women are supportive and fun, the class is half an hour so easy to find time for, and I enjoy it! I've actally seen difference where I thought the mum tum was here to stay! I even think I'm going to continue going after this course. Thanks Mel! see you tomorrow x
The best thing about Mel is that she never fails to chase you up with a text - very handy for days when you just might not feel like exercising! Mel is also amazing at mixing things up - I don't think I have ever had any two classes the same. Thanks Mel, and keep up the fab work!
Mel is engaging, motivating and her classes are varied and challenging. I usually struggle to keep momentum with attending workout classes, but Mel's BoxFit class is different. I love the fact that it's all ladies working towards the same goal, different levels of fitness and smaller classes for more personalised sessions. Highly recommend.
Mel is an great trainer, I attended her box fit classes twice a week and they were amazing! I was super nervous to start, but the environment is so comfortable and accepting.
What attracted me to the class in the beginning was the fact that it was all ladies with health, fitness, and/or weight-loss in mind. When i started i had no upper body strength at all and after finishing i am relatively strong and i now have an absolute love for boxing. I unfortunately moved cites so i can no longer attend but i encourage you to go and see her!
Definitely seeing the changes, my clothes are starting to fit better again. My bras are back on the tightest hook so crossing fingers I can get the new ones at the end of this month :)
Box fit for me is a great overall workout, I always come away from classes feeling energised and like all my muscles have had to do something. It's the best stress reliever ever! I am more toned in those places where all us girls want to be toned and I feel stronger and more confident.
I like the fact that both the box fit and bootie camp are quick full on sessions where you get the most out of a work out and because they are quick sessions they always fit into a busy schedule - no excuses! Although they are also too enjoyable to miss! Yes, you heard me exercise is enjoyable and never boring as Melissa changes things up each week and encourages you to get through at your own pace.
It was the best decision for me to do box fit and bootie camp.
